I recently painted a letter as part of a typography show at LoDi Gallery. Now I can’t stop.

The folks at your favorite basement bar, FOUNDATION, have commissioned me to paint a magical mascot on their wall! Go check out this adventure loving plott hound (the official NC state dog!) and enjoy an expertly crafted beverage while you’re at it! I am super excited about this project.

The Conquerors exhibit opens at Artspace this friday in Gallery 2. The show, curated by my good friends Paul Friedrich and Lia Newman, features the work of five nationally known artists exhibiting for the first time in Raleigh: Mark Bodnar, Mari Inukai, Liz McGrath, Bill McRight, and Bonnie Brenda Scott. We’re so excited about it, we decided to put together The LoPop Shop, where Raleigh’s own up and coming artists will be selling their wares!
